Privacy Policy

Effective date: October 14, 2026

Who this notice concerns

The operator of newsaloon.org uses “we” in this policy. It covers information associated with the New Saloon publication. Write to [email protected] for privacy questions and requests. Features such as newsletters, advertising and analytics are described conditionally, according to whether they are offered or enabled.

What might we receive?

Contacting us may provide a name, reply address, message and attached files. Their purposes are answering inquiries, reviewing corrections, managing requests and keeping relevant correspondence. Form hosting and anti-spam tools, where used, may process submitted content and technical delivery or protection records. Please avoid unnecessary sensitive information.

Page requests may produce IP addresses, device or browser details, referral information, requested URLs and timestamps. Delivery and security providers can use them to operate pages, troubleshoot failures and prevent abuse. Analytics, if enabled, may process identifiers and events to understand readership and improve the site; these records are not necessarily anonymous.

What about ads, links and emails?

An advertising partner may receive identifiers, IP addresses, browsing events and page context to serve contextual or personalized ads and measure results when ads are used. Disclosures may qualify as sale, sharing or targeted advertising under applicable privacy laws. Ask us about available choices. Affiliate links may send referral details to a merchant or network for attribution of visits or purchases and commissions. Embedded third-party content may contact its provider when it loads or is used.

A newsletter subscription, when available, uses your email and requested signup details for delivery and preference management. Its provider may process delivery status and optional open or click measures. Unsubscribe through the email or ask for help. Minimal suppression data may remain so that choice is respected.

Who handles records, and for how long?

Providers for hosting, security, email, forms and enabled optional functions receive relevant data. Some third parties act for their own purposes under their own notices. Reasonably necessary disclosures may relate to law, rights, safety, abuse or a business transfer with required safeguards and notices. Linked websites apply separate terms and privacy policies.

Retention depends on purpose, inquiry follow-up, subscriptions, suppression needs, operations, security, legal obligations and disputes. Transmission and storage cannot be guaranteed fully secure. Cookies, pixels and related methods may support preferences, measurement, ads and referrals. Browser controls can restrict some cookies, affecting features without stopping all collection. Do Not Track is distinct from legally recognized opt-out preference signals such as Global Privacy Control.

Requests, younger visitors and changes

Applicable law and location may provide access, copies, correction, deletion, sensitive-data limits and opt-outs for sale, sharing or targeted advertising. Email requests to us. Verification for personal records must be proportionate, not an unnecessary requirement for sale or sharing opt-outs. Agents and appeals are supported where required, subject to exceptions and without unlawful discrimination. This adult publication does not knowingly collect under-13 personal information or target that group. Report suspected child submissions for investigation and appropriate deletion. Policy revisions appear here with any legally necessary further notice or consent. Visiting alone does not authorize all optional tracking or marketing.
